AREVA India team present at the Indo-French Technology Summit

France was the partner country of the Technology Summit 2013. This was officially announced by the President of the French Republic during his State visit to India on 14th- 15th February 2013.
The Summit was organised by The Confederation of Indian Industry, the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology, the Embassy of France in India and took place on 23rd-24th October in Lalit Hotel, New Delhi.
The objective of the Summit was to promote technological and trade exchanges between the two countries. This Summit will lend visibility to France’s achievements research, development and innovation as well as provide opportunities to market new products and services (technology transfer, joint R&D project or market access).The French public and private sectors had the opportunity to demonstrate their latest innovations and meet potential partners to develop new technologies and create new synergies in bilateral collaborations.
More than 800 French and Indian participants attended this conference, including companies, research organizations, universities, clusters, and agency departments.

Dr Martha Crawford-Heitzmann, senior executive vice president for Research, Development and Innovation for AREVA, took part to a roundtable on the topic of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy. She presented the advanced technology solutions for low-carbon power generation promoted by AREVA, and explained how the group is increasing its activities in renewable energies, especially in India.
